Breeze Airways has started selling tickets today with fares start at $39 one way, a nod to the airline’s 39 inaugural routes across 16 cities. The company’s first flights will be between Tampa, Florida, and Charleston, South Carolina, as well as from Charleston to Hartford, Connecticut, on May 27, 2021, with more flights added to the schedule during June and July. Breeze Airways is the second new airline to launch in the United States in less than a month, following Avelo.
The airline’s first flight, from Charleston to Tampa and then to Hartford, Connecticut, is set to take off on May 27—just in time for Memorial Day Weekend travel. Via July, more routes will be added. Breeze will fly 10 Embraer E-190 jets with 108 seats and three E-195 planes with 118 seats in all-economy class. On select flights, a $39 fare is available. Seating is limited. Purchased by June 1, 2021, for travel to February 15, 2022. Taxes and government fees are included in the displayed price.
