Avianca, a South American airline, is launching two new routes between two major US cities and Colombia. Avianca will begin nonstop service between New York-JFK and Cartagena, Colombia, on March 27. The other new route, between Orlando, Florida and Medellin, Colombia, will begin on March 29. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, flights will depart from Orlando. Both new flights are part of Avianca’s expanded North American service, which will include 50 routes by 2025. In another effort to boost service, Avianca will resume flights between Miami and Cartagena on March 27.
No matter where you wish to go in South America, now is a fantastic time to book with the airline. The Star Alliance airline is now running a Red Sale, with international fares starting at $49.
Routes between New York and San Salvador, Miami and Medellin, and Los Angeles and Guatemala City are included in the sale, which runs until January 16.
